What is a loft bed? It's a bed on stilts that looks like the top of a bunkbed with open space underneath. They are available in a twin, full or queen size bed. This open space under the bed allows you to put any arrangement that fits your room. Add drawers, a bookcase, desk or another bed or small futon underneath. It's the easiest way to make a small room spacious. Get a loft with a set up arrangement or design your own.

Our unfinished lofts come in four sizes including an extra long twin and a queen. Built for college dorms so it's dorm tough with a ladder built up the side. A front ladder is available if needed. It can be left natural or can be painted or stained easily to match your decor.
Futon bunkbeds are similar to lofts except the futon is built into the botton. The futon and bed gives great extra sitting and sleeping space but the configuration is set. Underneath drawers can be added to many of our units for extra storage.
Now add a good mattress to your bed. Any well made mattress can be used. You want to make sure the total height is not over 7" for safty. Make sure the bed mattress you select is comfortable and light enough to be made up on the top. A good all foam or non-spring mattress works well for a top bed.
