Make You Guests Comfortable on a Futon.

Posted on Thu, Nov 08, 2012

With the holidays coming up you will have guests arriving. Some expected and some not. Be prepared with plenty of comfortable extra sitting and sleep space. A futon gives you both in one neat package. Make that extra bedroom or home office more efficient and comfortable for your guests now and your own use later.

Futons can be customized to fit the look and feel you want in your home. Select a frame that conforms to your decor. Mattresses are important for giving the right feel you like. And the covers and pillows give you your color and style. They are easy and quick to operate. Futons can come in any size to fit your space from a twin bed all the way to a queen bed if your room is spacious.

Futons are no longer the uncomfortable, disposable, and cheap furniture of your college days. Customers are always surprised at the new looks and mattress combinations available. You can get several different types of innerspring mattresses as well as memory foam and cotton and foam. Futons convert easily for anyone to use.

When shopping for a futon make sure you can test it out by sitting and lying down on it. You want to make sure it is comfortable and works easily. All futons are not alike. The cheaper ones are just that, cheap! Sofa-sleepers aren't all that comfortable either, and they are extremely heavy. Futons are not heavy, and can be moved easily when needed. The all wood ones tend to be more durable and give better comfort than the metal or metal and wood combinations.

Once you have made your futon or bed selection for your space and everything is ready, here are a few more suggestions to help you welcome your company and make them feel at home.

*Have the bed or futon made up with clean linens and have an extra blanket at the end of the bed.

*Keep an alarm clock, reading material, and reading light on a table near by. Kleenex and fresh flowers are a nice touch too.

*Make sure they is a place to keep luggage and to hang up clothes if possible.

*Have extra towels and bathing stuff available.

Now all of your guests, both kids and adults will be comfortable . Even your mother in law will be impressed!  I know mine was.
