What was that stain on my mattress from? Here are some basic mattress stain removal tips...

Basic household cleaning agents (use only one):
-Gentle, powdered laundry detergent & water
-Enzyme-based, liquid laundry detergent & water
-White vinegar
-Oxygen bleach
-Hydrogen peroxide

(Note: First, test small area for timely dryness.)

Step 1:
Dip sponge or cloth into solution, so that it is damp but not wet. (Note: Careful not to over wet surface.)

Step 2:
Blot stain, using pressure, until stain lightens or removes. Repeat, if necessary.

Step 3:
Let area dry completely. (Mattress should be dry within an hour. If not dry, use hair dryer on low heat to quicken process, or sprinkle baking soda and leave overnight.)

Step 4:
Vacuum surface of mattress.

(Note: The combination of water and cotton can create mold or mildew inside your mattress. For preventative measures, consider purchasing a mattress protector to protect your investment.)
